Dudes. Wickipedia is MAGIC. Just look at that--it lists everyone who has been cast in Order of the Phoenix, including Natalia Tena (most notably as the punk girl in About A Boy) as Tonks, Susie Shinner as Lily Evans, and Robbie Jarvis as Young James Potter. It also tells me that Robbie Jarvis is 19, so I have to really really wonder what's going to happen in Snape's Worst Memory. Harry and James are supposed to look almost exactly alike, but let's face it--Dan still looks like a little boy, and I somehow doubt this Robbie guy can pull off looking 15. If someone can find me a better picture than the one on Mugglenet, I will have your babies. Or um, maybe not, but I'll write you something.

According to Wikipedia, both Alan Rickman and Maggie Smith "have made no comment about returning." Now, if Rickman does not return as Snape... man. That will be seriously disappointing. I can't imagine him NOT coming back, considering that Rowling has told him Snape's fate. On the other hand, Kenneth Branaugh may be back as Lockhart, who was supposedly still in the first draft of the script. Now that I'd like to see.

For those of you who 1) don't live in Austin 2) are not crazy obsessed with Harry Potter or 3) aren't lame enough to hang around on the internets all the time, you may not know about the fucking awesomeness that is Wizard People, Dear Reader. It's an alternate soundtrack for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone done by a guy playing like he's doing a book on tape but was too lazy to read the book so is instead narrating the movie. As the film goes on he seems to get progressively drunker and his commentary exponentially more hilarious.

Today I found a community dedicated to WPDR: wizardpeople. There in the userinfo you can learn all about Wizard People AND download the alternate soundtrack which can be burned onto CDs and played over the film's original soundtrack. Believe me, WPDR is far better than anything Steve Kloves could've written.

And to celebrate, I've made icons!



I also changed my layout. It's Christmas-themed. I was going to make it WPDR themed, but all the good quotes are soooo long.

In other news, my Halloween costume is nearly complete. I just lack my dress, which is currently being shipped to me, and shoes. For those of you who I haven't gone on and on about this to, I'm going as Jem for Halloween. As in the Holograms, not as in the singer. I have my wig (pink), my tights (silver and black fishnets), my 80s belt/hip thing (silver with pink beaded fringe), and my gloves (black fishnet). It's going to be kick ass.

I have finally given in and done a snaps cup thinger, whatever the hell that is. Mainly because it's a pornographic one. So anyone who wants to write some dirty things about me, go right here and do it.

First off, for anyone who's interested, I finally got my audioscrobbler thing working. You can go see what I'm listening to right here, but I warn you, it's not terribly interesting. Pretty much what you'd expect.

I'm still looking for Ani Difranco's cover of 'Do Re Mi' if anyone has it. I have a live version that's just not as good as the recorded. Anyone?

Secondly, so, that hate meme thing. Man. I'm disappointed in y'all. No one hates on me, WTF? I'm totally whiny and bitchtastic, and I get nothing? For shame.

Thirdly, I am overwhelmed by the number of comments and recs I've gotten for The Late Night Visit, or Why Jo Decided to Kill Off Someone Else.
